Sessions and Fees - Flying Start Nursery and Pre-School

We are open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday all year round apart from the Christmas break and Bank Holidays. We offer full day sessions, 8am to 6pm, and shorter sessions of 5 hours, 8am to 1pm (to include morning snack and two course lunch) and 1pm to 6pm (to include afternoon snack and tea). We can offer school hour days or term time only attendance for pre-school children the term after they turn 3.

Fees are payable in advance and the prices are shown below. We accept Working Parent Entitlement funding (from 9 months to term after they turn 3) and NEF (from the term after they turn 3). Our terms and conditions can be found in the info and resources section.

Casual Club

If regular sessions are not what you need at this point then please ask for details on our Casual Club.

Casual Club is £50.00 per set 5 hour session for Hedgehogs & Squirrels and £40.00 for Owls.

Prices effective 1 April 2025.

Ad hoc additional hours for Hedgehogs and Squirrels will be charged at £8.00 per hour.

For Owls (pre-school), non-NEF funded hours that are part of your normal sessions will be charged at £7.00. For Squirrels and Hedgehogs, non-Working Parent Entitlement funded hours will be charged at £8.00

Please note that all meals and snacks and any extracurricular activities such as Forest School and French lessons are included in these fees (nappies and formula milk are to be provided by parents where applicable).

An admin charge of £60 is required at the time of registration to secure a place (not applicable to fully funded places). This is non-refundable. There is also a refundable deposit to be paid at the same time, this will be the value of one month’s care up to a maximum of £500. This will be deducted from your fourth month’s invoice. The place will only be held for seven days after the agreed start date shown on the Child Registration Form.
